Bogatovsky Oil Extraction Plant was founded in 1928 on the basis of a sugar factory. In 1961, the enterprise underwent a major modernization: an oil extraction workshop equipped with “SKET” (Germany) machinery was put into operation, which made it possible to increase the plant’s capacity and improve the quality of its products.
The main activity of the plant is the processing of sunflower, soybean, and rapeseed seeds. The production capacity of the oil extraction plant is 400 tons per day for sunflower seeds, and 200 tons per day for soybean and rapeseed seeds.
The primary products manufactured at the facility are unrefined sunflower oil of the first grade and unrefined sunflower oil for industrial processing. The products comply with GOST R 52465-2005.
The annual production capacity reaches 54 thousand tons of sunflower oil.The vegetable oil production process includes the following stages:
The technological process is organized in accordance with modern requirements for product quality, which is confirmed by certificates issued by the Samara Region Center for Standardization and Metrology.
The enterprise includes a certified and accredited laboratory equipped with modern equipment for full-cycle production control — from raw material intake to finished product storage.
Bogatovsky Oil Extraction Plant has the most powerful complex of buildings and facilities in the region.
To ensure stable operation, in 2009 a grain drying and cleaning complex was put into operation, which increased raw material storage capacity by 6,500 tons and enabled processing and drying of sunflower seeds.
In 2011, due to drought and a shortage of sunflower seeds, the enterprise shifted to processing soybeans delivered from the Far East.
In November 2016, a refinery and deodorization workshop with a capacity of 50 tons per day was launched. The technology utilizes chemisorption gel refining, which completely eliminates chemical treatment of oil, providing significant advantages unattainable through other refining methods. Currently, design and equipment procurement are underway for bottling oil into containers of various capacities.
Bogatovsky Oil Extraction Plant has strong prospects for stable operation and development. The enterprise employs highly qualified production and technical personnel with extensive experience in the oil and fat industry.
A key advantage of the plant is its favorable geographical location. The surrounding areas have been growing sunflowers for many years.
Administratively, Bogatovsky Oil Extraction Plant is located in the southern part of the Bogatoye settlement of the Bogatovsky District in the Samara Region.
The plant has access to railway lines. The length of the private track to Bogatoye station of the South Ural Railway is 3,000 meters.Local roads lead to the plant, and 1 km away runs the interregional highway R224: Samara–Kinel–Bogatoye–Orenburg. The Samara Region borders Saratov, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, and Penza regions, as well as the Republic of Tatarstan. The border with West Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan is also nearby. The nearest major cities include Samara, Kazan, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, and Saratov.
